Session 10:
Daily Bread
Background
Daily Bread
It was the poorest of the poor that didn’t know where their bread was coming from each day. By including this appeal for daily bread in the Lords Prayer, Jesus identifies himself with the poor and implies we should do the same on a daily basis.
Scripture
Key Words
Forgiveness: The Greek word literally means ‘to let go’, for example to not demand payment for a debt.
It does not mean that the wrong-doing does not matter, it does. By letting go, we release a person from their debt to us, but we also release ourselves from anger, bitterness and other negative consequences of someone else’s sin.

Challenge
To pray often means that we find that God is calling us to take some kind of action.
Is there someone I need to forgive me?
Is there anyone I need to forgive?
What am I going to do about that?
