Jewish men had a long and involved prayer called the ‘Eighteen Benedictions’ that they prayed three times a day. The Lord’s Prayer is a masterful summary of it.  The best way to get into it is to pray it on a daily basis.

Hallowed: A modern translation like the NLT says ‘may your name be kept holy’ – which does then suggest that we have a role in doing that!
