Craven

Currently employing Bee as our Schools Worker, Craven is seeking to expand the work from Bentham and Ingleton areas, towards Settle and beyond.  Enquiries from local Christians interested in joining a Support Group are most welcome.

We can deliver clubs, assemblies and lessons in schools and also support Churches in their youth and children’s work such as in the popular Re:Wind days.

For more information as a teacher, parent, Church leader or potential volunteer, please use our contact page to talk to one of our staff, who will be glad to answer all your questions.

From our Week of Vision and Prayer

Thank you so much for sharing your prayer activities this week, here’s a little example of some of the many things that happened this week:

Monday

We used the online devotion to explore and meditate on Luke 24: 13-16 and prayed that our children and young people will journey with Jesus

Tuesday

We prayer walked around Ingleton village, and those that couldn’t prayed from their homes. Viv (who can see Ingleton Primary School from her lounge window) stood and prayed over the school.

Wednesday

Poor weather prevented us from prayer walking around Bentham so Claire and Olivia did their own prayer walk and I drove up to Bentham Big Stone and sat listening to the rain on the car as I prayed over Bentham.

Thursday

We prayed for our villages between Settle and Skipton. Judith prayer walked Austwick and Clapham.

Friday

We prayed for Settle. Sally prayed on her 8 mile walk, Joy joined in prayer from home. Bee did her own prayer walk at Clapham along the inspiring nature trail.

Saturday/Sunday

We used the devotion to look at Luke 24: 30-35 and prayed that we would be able to equip and encourage our children and young people. On Sunday Bee spoke at Bentham Methodist Church about this week of Vision and Prayer and her work at NISCU.
