Week of Vision and Prayer, 2020

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

What is it?

For one week, we are inviting our supporters from across all the areas we cover to participate in a week of prayer for NISCU, our schools, and how we support our children’s and young people’s communities.

We are inviting you to join us in this at whatever level you are able to, so that together we can take time to pray that God would intervene in our communities.

What will I have to do?

We would like you to pray every day for schools and the work of NISCU. Below is a suggested schedule that your area committee and staff team have provided (click on the ‘area information’ link). Please feel free to use this as a starting point for your prayers.

Monday to Friday:

There will be 5 different localities within your area (1 each day) that you can focus on praying for:

The schools – teachers, leaders and governors.

The children and youth– that they would find hope in their area.

The churches – that they would see how they can support their children and youth communities effectively, and be strengthened in doing so.

Pray for the staff team in your area.

Pray for your area support group.

We would like you to pass this news on to people in your local church. Maybe ask your church leader if you could give details out in your notices, or approach individuals that you know who would like to join us in prayer for our schools – parents, teachers, school governors and volunteers.
