“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

There are so many different ways that children and young people can learn and share about Jesus and one of them is through the language of football! Ambassadors Football seek to share the good news of Jesus through the culturally universal means of football and are running various football camps across the country over the summer (which you may have seen in our Connect magazine!)

These camps are great not just for the children taking part but in giving young people opportunities to lead and serve. Today we are hearing from Noah about his experience volunteering on one of these football camps.

“It was amazing coming to the camp this year at Dallas Road. I love everything football, and coaching is one thing I’ve wanted to develop for a long time. This was an amazing experience to both develop my coaching skills, help the children to develop their skills and confidence in Jesus through their lives; not just in football.

On the final day, I was privileged to share my testimony with the kids during the assembly time. I talked about my story of meeting Jesus for the first time, while adapting my story to seem more appealing for the kids to understand. This was an amazing opportunity for me, and hopefully for the children as well.

I cannot recommend this camp enough! It is such a joy and blessing to be able to use football as a way of spreading the gospel with these children!”

Noah, 15
