I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well. Psalm 139: 14

We’ve recently had Disabled Access Day, marked on the 16th March as a day of celebration and awareness dedicated to highlighting the importance of accessibility and inclusiveness for all, especially for individuals with disabilities. This week has also been Neurodiversity celebration week 17th to 23rd March, founded in 2018 to challenge perceptions, recognise skills and talents, grow inclusive cultures celebrating difference and empowering individuals.

It’s pure joy to know we can all praise God, celebrate His wonderful works and thank Him for creating each of us unique, with different skills, talents and personalities. It is more important than ever to follow Jesus in his welcome and intentionally listen, show compassion and learn how we can be part of a movement of growth, actively encouraging, celebrating and working through the practicalities to provide greater access and inclusivity for all people to come closer to God. We know the joy of full access to God, and we desire that for everyone.

We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand – out in the wide-open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.   Romans 5:2 The Message

Let’s ‘throw open the doors’ for more people to discover more of God! Thankfully we can bring it all to Father God, He’s on our team! Let’s celebrate our ACCESS to our wonderful God.
